Great place. The new owners have out done themselves with getting a positive attitude in there and improve immensely on the food and ambiance. Hats off to them!

Love this place! Bagels are fresh and the salads are amazing. You must try the tuna and egg salads yummy!!!! There is so much good food you need to visit more than once to get a taste of all it has to offer! The owners Debbie and David are so friendly and warm even the staff knows you by name!

Yay Debbie! Great bagel shop in Cooper City. They've got a great menu that is growing all of the time. The staff knows its "regulars" by name. I love their chicken salad - delicious.

Great service even when place is busy, food is fresh. Lots of different coffee types. You can order what ever you like, they will make it even if not on the menu. Highly recommended to start the day. Love the fact the owners actually work and serve to make sure you are satisfied to the max.

The word is out! I just recently heard this local Bagel Restaurant was recently sold! To my delight there are new owners who seem to have a handle on how to serve a great breakfast and treat clients like friends..Since, this is nearby, i will start going back for both Breakfast and Lunch and suggest to anyone in the neighborhood to visit this restaurant again.. The food is Fresh and the Bagels are crispy! Its good to see the New Owners are two caring people which is a relief from the old regime..Congrats David and Debbie....:-)

Matzah soup was amazing! Bagels always fresh. And always always great service. I usually get an egg white omelette with corned beef hash. Or the BLT is great. New ownership has done a great job adding some color and a new attitude. Kept a lot of the old staff which is great because they are awesome. Come and try for yourself!

Prepare yourselves, this is a long review ... please read it all though, I feel it is important to tell people about how bad of an establishment this is. This was a few months ago when this happened so correct me if the ownership has changed. First off, I used to go here all the time on Sunday after church with my friend because their bagel sandwich was so good for the price. We always got take out before and one time I was there, the cashier was kinda rude, but I just let it slide because they may have had a bad day or something. So another day, I recommended to a few friends that we should go here for breakfast after church. We sat down, ordered, had great service from the waitress and everything was all good. Then came time to pay for the meal. So at this place, you have to pay at the cash register after eating. We had a party of 4, so we asked to split the checks. Here is where the trouble came in. They said they couldn't charge under $10 on credit, which is understandable, so we asked if we could just split the meal into two checks instead of 4 so that it would be over the $10 limit each. We weren't even complaining and the manager was just behind the cashier eavesdropping. Before we could even suggest a better solution, the manager was incredibly rude and just kept saying he couldn't split the check and took my friend's credit card from her hand and swiped it. He then went on to say that we can figure out how to split the bill amongst ourselves on our own time. Not even a sorry for the inconvenience or an apology of any kind. I could see the cashier was embarrassed at the manager's behavior. She looked almost scared to say something even, which is understandable because she wants to keep her job. Anyways, I have never been so mad from a restaurant before I went to this place. I usually can keep my cool if I had bad service but this place literally had me fuming. I felt like steam was coming out of my ears when I left. I felt bad at the amount of tip we left but the only reason we left any tip was because the actual server was not the problem, it was the ownership. This place needs to have some lessons on how to treat people because that was ridiculous. They lost two previously loyal customers and I felt embarrassed for even recommending to my friends to go there for breakfast. Basically if you have cash or an order over $10, then go here, just don't expect to be treated very well if there is any sort of conversation with the manager, which we didn't even ask for. I wish I can rate this place less than one star but that isn't possible on here. Hopefully this doesn't fall on deaf ears because people need to realize that customer service is the number one way to get people to come back to your business and even a little bit can go a long way. End rant ...

Since the new owners took over the service and quality of food is much better. The bagels are fresh and the people are now nice that work there. I'm excited to go back often. I travel 2x a week in the davie/cooper city area and always try to make a stop in here now for a fresh bagel. Their sandwiches are awesome too!

Service still sucks. They lie about the specials and come up with new rules of what the specials are. When it says a platter and beverage as the special but then afterwards they say it's the weekend, so you don't get a drink. Then the attitude of having to actually come back to a table to refill drinks and still not do it. Nothing has changed here.

I usually just get some bagels to go from here and decided to stay for breakfast. the place is usually very busy so i figured it might be worth a try. Service was ok. i ordered eggs with a bagel and turkey sausage. my bf ordered grilled cheese with bacon. the eggs were ok, sausage nothing exciting but bagel didnt arrive with the eggs, which kind of defeats the point of ordering it-i like to soak up eggs with the bagel. my bfs grilled cheese was just toast with raw cheese inside. he sent it back requesting it be melted. when it came back (and i was already done with mine) it was barely cooked any more than before. i will try to attach a picture of the more well done sandwich. coffee was good, and the bathroom was good.

Just tried to place a small order over the phone for pick-up so I would not have to wait. I was told on the phone that they don't take small orders over the phone and to just come in. Obviously they are so busy that they don't need my business, thus I will take my business to Mayor's Cafe.

The food here is ok...standard breakfast fare. Unfortunately, the staff is incredibly rude. The first time my husband and I went, we had a server who, we assumed, must have been having a bad day. We decided to give it another try. Our second visit, we had another extremely rude waitress. She was not only rude to us, but the group next to us as well, who we overheard complaining about her. We will not be returning.

I just left the soon to be out of business called Bagels 4 U. I had breakfast there with my wife around 9am today, February 3, 2011. My wife had the whitefish salad and I had the Challah French toast with bacon. For starters the cucumbers on the whitefish salad were not freshly cut. They were clearly old and from the day before because they had the translucent almost slimy texture to them; we did not complain. When I received my French toast it did not come with bacon like I ORDERED IT and how it was offered on the menu (for an additional charge of $1.50). No big deal I wait for my bacon while I eat my breakfast. The waitress brought the bacon out shortly after, no harm, no foul right? After we finish eating and I go to pay I notice that I am charged $2.95 not the $1.50 for the bacon. I ask the fairly old woman behind the counter who I presume is either the owner or his wife, about the charge. She states that I ordered a side of bacon and that it is $2.95. I tried explaining to her that I ordered the bacon with my french toast and she had to go get it after. She starts to quibble with me about the size of the side order (mind you I dont make the order sizes and really have no idea what they are or are not supposed to be). I told her to forget it and just run my card. The man behind the counter in his best "Gumba Italian" voice says "forget it charge him the dollar fifty and he can find somewhere else to eat". Now since I AM Italian, and I have been a chef for 25 years - I would have normally instantly started a confrontation with the punk behind the counter. But being of an age where I have two young children and a busy schedule I decided just to leave and proceed to post at every single restaurant site that this business is affiliated with. Between that and my long time relationships with all the food vendors, brokers and distributors in the South Florida area, I will do my best to damage the "Gumby's" reputation. So, in conclusion: between the servers lack of attention, the owner's wife quibbling with a guest about the size of an order of bacon, and the now referred to as "Gumby" behind the counter, this restaurant will not survive, especially in Cooper City where the patrons are used to being catered to. I would avoid it at all costs unless you like spending $9 for an egg breakfast that comes with a side of "Gumby". Oh well, too bad for them. CYA around "Gumby"!

Great place, great service, & great food! I've visited Bagels 4 U more in the past 3 months than I ever did in the past 5 years! Not only are the new owners nice & polite, they actually treat you like family! Sorry to say, but the previous owners treated their patrons like crap! The waitstaff are friendly, accommodating and take good care of you. Even the guys behind the counter and at the grill great you with a wave & "Hello, how are you?". This place now feels like the good 'ole fashioned, hometown deli & gathering place that it should have been from the start! Way to go new owners, Cooper City finally has an authentic bagel & deli shop we can be proud of :)

This is a decent breakfast spot. I like the fact it is very close to my home. However the prices are very expensive. Over $11 for the nova platter when you can go to Blue Moon Dinner and get 2 times the Nova for half the price.
